Real ale bar


The bar is an ideal meeting place for guests and local residents. There is a selection of British ales (including local real ale from Stonehouse Brewery) and continental largers. Food is also served in the bar with traditional homemade meals such as: Steak & Ale Pie, Cod & Cross Keys Chips, Shepherds pie and Shropshire Fidget Pie.

Shropshire and the Welsh borders are blessed with an abundance of small independent real ale breweries, 5 of which are within 30 minutes of The Cross Keys, 2 of these real ales are always available as well as guest beers. Brewery tours can often be arranged, please contact us for more details.

The Cross Keys is one of those rare buildings where by standing in the front door you can have a foot in 2 countries - England and Wales.

You can simple relax in the bar with your drinks or enjoy one of the traditional pub games including; Pool, Darts, Backgammon or Chess.
